Over the past few years, I’ve been writing music through a feminist lens. From celebrating women leaders in “The Boss,” reflecting on the beauty of aging in “Une Femme D’un Certain Âge,” or calling out mansplaining in—you guessed it—“Mansplainin',” each composition brings a personal perspective to the jazz canon. These pieces blend jazz’s rich tradition of soloing, groove, and harmony with lyrics that are as clever and vulnerable as the stories they tell.

So…. THIS IS IT! The start of my TWO-MONTH crowdfund! The goal is to raise $20,000 over the next 60 days to cover the cost of production of the album, studio recording, top-tier musicians, mixing and mastering, photography and videography, CD printing, and publicity.
